The big news is that the Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf are teaming up to create one, unified system for electrical car owners to recharge their car. They will share one app, use one type of credit card, and more shared use details are being negotiated.
SO, what’s the big deal? It’s another case that your competitor may be your ally- really!
Today is the day, today is your day to discover, understand, and create alliances with your competitor. Here’s why:
You Need a Referral Partner – Perhaps you’re so busy that you can’t handle another client. Why not refer the biz to someone you know, like and trust?
Your Competitor May Not be a Competitor Forever – In this crazy economy, I’d bet that a few of your competitors are temporary; they’re hanging up their shingle when they get a full-time gig. Don’t you want to be the recipient of their business?
You May Need to Hire Help – If you’re like one of my clients, you may land such a huge account that you need more people to work on the new business. You can only hire competent competitors, if you actually get to know them.
